Senior Associate

Vemund provides legal assistance on financial restructurings, M&A and debt financing, including both bond issuances and bank loans.

Vemund has experience assisting corporations and bank syndicates in Norwegian and cross-border financial restructurings and debt financings, particularly within the shipping and offshore industries. Additionally, he has advised Norwegian and international clients on acquisitions, private placements and mergers within the shipping and offshore, infrastructure, retail, and technology sectors. Vemund has also assisted clients in connection with stock exchange listings and corporate spin-offs.

Prior to his current role, Vemund served as a research assistant at the Faculty of Law at the University of Oslo, where he earned his Master of Law. His master’s thesis explored debt-to-equity conversions in the context of financial restructurings.
